praguesirens House is part of the living Letná gallery of Constructivist architecture dating from the 1920’s and 30’s. It is located in a traffic-calmed section of Milady Horákové (house number 4) in the centre of Letná, one of the most attractive residential areas of Prague.
With the exception of the listed façade, everything in the house is new. From the roof to the ceilings, floors, windows and doors, to the elevator, pipes, electrical lines and central heating system.
The design of the communal areas and central staircase follow the original architectural plans from the late Nineteenth Century. Art installations on each floor honour Miladá Horaková, after whom our street is named.
We see the house as an exclusive island of intellectual inspiration, positive community, and quiet personal retreat.
The house has 11 apartments on 5 levels. The six ‘Classic’ apartments (C) on floors 2, 3 and 4 are 61 (2 + KK), 62 (2 + KK) and 113 (3 + KK) square meters. Each apartment has wonderfully high ceilings, oiled wooden floors, windows and doors based on original historical designs and luxurious bathrooms full of character.
The two ‘design’ apartments (D) on floors 2 and 3 are open-plan ‘mini-lofts’ with 43 square meters (2 + KK). They are fully equipped with the highest quality design classics and have a particularly inspiring atmosphere.
The three ‘Attic’ apartments (A) extend over two floors connected by an internal staircase and have the character of an independent house within the house. They are 73 (2 + KK), 89 (3+KK) and 127 (4+KK) square meters and have balconies with a breath-taking view.
